Last October my driver's side HID started turning purple and eventually went out. Had it fixed under warranty and now the other side started doing the same thing tonight. With one month left on my warranty, I'm beginning to wonder why these things keep going out and what I may have to face later on. My 2008 only has 22k miles on it, although I admit I do often drive with them on during the day due to leaving a dark parking structure. Could I have used up the life of the HID's just from that? Thought they were to last longer than halogens. Thoughts?

Probably just a bad batch of bulbs.

I hope man... I have full trust in Toyota/Lexus to not buy an extended warranty.

Probably just got a bad set...but if they do go out again, just get some good aftermarket replacement (i.e. Garax) that aren't that expensive.
Don't bother buying OEM bulbs again.
