Default Engine Cover Clips

Does anyone know where I can buy more engine cover clips? I've tried ordering a bag of 10 push-in clips from Sewell but they were way too thick for the holes.

I'm looking for the kind where you push the little piece on the middle to lock it into place and push all the way down to release. I hope I'm making sense.

Thanks!

There are different sizes, do you know which ones you need exactly?

These are the ones you seek.

Thanks for the responses.

I do have four of those "push-in style clip fasteners" holding the front engine cover down, but they are on backorder on Sewell. :[

Also, the side engine covers use a different kind of clip. Here's a picture of them that I took:

Am I the only one who uses these? Or maybe they only came with the 2006 IS. :[

Those are 2006 style clips, they were discontinued for the easier to use, current style you see on the link I posted.

So the 2006 clips are collector items.

I googled a bit and found the part number: 53259-0E010 (based on the post here)

Now the tricky part is finding a reliable place that sells these...

Oooh, no wonder! The four I have holding down the front engine cover must've replaced the 2006 ones when the dealer did some work way back whenever. Thanks for the information! I guess I'll just go with the new ones then!

(I originally thought they were harder to work with because I needed a flathead to pop them off, but now that I watched the video on Sewell, I feel really stupid.)

Any ideas where I could buy the new clips since Sewell is backordered?

Nevermind! They are on backorder unless you order a bag of 10. Tricky Sewell... ;P

Thanks everyone for the very helpful responses!

53259-0E010 are the 2006 style.
90467-07211 are the 2007-12 style.

Both types should be pretty readily available at most times (seems like the USA may be waiting for stock on the newer style ones from Japan at the moment).
