OKAY sorry if what i explained was confusing. I have the decoders, I just don't understand is that it replaces the high beams right? but then my fog lights wont turn on because once you turn on the highbeams the foglights go away.

There are reasons the high beams and the fog lights are mutually exclusive.
  1. Many states have a law allowing only four front facing white lights
  2. High beams cause glare in foggy conditions
  3. The additional forward facing light can be annoying to oncoming traffic

Sounds like you figured it out, but the LED DRLs come on when your regular halogen DRLs came on - when the car is in "Auto" mode or parking light mode. They also come on with your high beams (since it's the same bulb), but that forces your low beams on as well.

If you put on the LED DRLs, will you lose your high beams?

Yes, you will lose your dedicated 9005 high beams. However, if you have OEM HIDs they have bi-xenon so you will still have some high beam functionality. It just won't be as bright.

That' sucks. Can't you put in aftermarket bulbs like PIAA that uses more watts to have that similar look as the LED?

Nope, halogens don't work because DRLs run at reduced wattage, which negatively affects the color.
