I guess this is normal behavior since more people are experiencing the same thing. Anybody on stock suspension experiencing this? I've tried turning off TCS/VSC completely and the car just gets stuck on the driveway, gassing it only revs the motor and car goes nowhere (as if in neutral). Not sure if my wheel is spinning as I hear only the engine rev. With the TCS/VSC on, the car jerks/no power/jerks/no power over and over, inch by inch, on steeper driveways. It's pretty annoying when there are other cars around and here I am struggling to go up or down a driveway with the weird jerking motion. It's easy to duplicate this on the Big Lots plaza driveway near me, will try to get a video of it and post it up.

Try snow mode. It happens to me a lot on driveways. I can't complain I'm lowered.

It happened to me when I was on stock suspension as well. Dropping my car made no difference except now I have to angle more when I enter and exit my driveway.

happens to me. its the angle when entering the street. if i go straight out ill scrape the front, so i go at an angle. but then one wheel is still on the driveway portion while the other is at the lowest point where the driveway/street meet and it has no traction.

I guess I need to know how steep we're talking here. I've never had it happen, and I've driven up some steep driveways, but maybe not steep enough?

Also I have an M/T car, but I doubt that would matter. Maybe the VSC ECU's yawrate sensor is thinking the car is flipping over or something?

It doesn't occur in the 2011+ IS-F's... Because they have a true limited slip... However, to answer your question, it is normal.

I suppose I do have an LSD as well.

(IS F's got the LSD in 2010)

I don't have time to make a video until this weekend but tomorrow I will take a quick pic of a driveway where it always happens.

Yes, happens to me almost daily on my driveway as I wait for the gate to rise. Kinda like knowing all the systems are working so no bother here.

In my mind I picture this happening under your car. Your rear supsension is articulating over the incline/decline and one end is extending/compressing to the point where the sensor arm on the sway bar is kicking in your VSC. Not sure why you cannot move forward/reverse, unless one wheel just isn't on the ground. LOL!
