Yes, those are OEM parts. They're exactly what came in your car and they're exactly what a dealer would put in your car. Except they'd charge $25 per plug, instead of $13.

Sewell is a Lexus dealer. They sell OEM parts. The parts Sewell sells are exactly the same as the ones your local dealer would.

What was the wrong plug part number you put into your car? Just curious.

I'm on Sewell's website. They're showing $17.99 per spark plug. Where are you guys getting $13?

You must register and during registration indicate you're a CL member and provide your username. Then once signed in prices are shown at a discount.

Are the OEM plugs iridium? They should last until 100k right?

Change of spark plugs is recommended every 60k miles.

Does anyone know if the OEM plugs require setting? Or do they come pre-set?

I bought a 6 when sewells had them on that black friday deal, but have yet to install

The OEM come pre-gapped.

Anyone know how hard it is to install the plugs on a 07 IS250?

Intake manifold needs to come off to get access to the driver side cylinder bank.

It states clearly on Sewell's website that yes, they are iridium. They are also pre-gapped, so they're plug and play.

As far as how to's, I believe there are at least a few DIY threads on CL for installing spark plugs.

I bought the NGK Iridium IX, I literally can't wait to get the denso plugs. My car fee'ls like complete *** while driving. Now I jsut have to play the waiting game. I'm just driving the car to work and back, should I completely stop driving it until I get the new plugs?

Out of curiosity, are you even sure these spark plugs are causing the issues you're having? Were they appropriately gapped prior to installation?

They weren't gapped and i'm sure it's the plugs. What else could it possibly be... and what do they have to be gapped at?

If the plugs were Iridiums, they wouldn't need to be gapped. The factory will set the gap. I believe because this is to prevent damage to the iridium tip since it is fairly thin.

But if you want to verify the gap, it should be .044 inches according to the NGK website.
