Need help!!! Seibon cf hood
So i decided to install seibon cf hood. After i realized all the problems that came with the hood, the last problem was the latch. I cant get the hood to close all the way down. The clasp wont seem to reach the clip for the hood to lock into place.
Others problems:
No holes to clip the wind shield wipers
No hole to clip the pull down latch
But the main problem is trying to get the damn hood to close all the way down!
SOMEONE HELP ME!

Someone needs help?! Im on my way haha
For the hood, that is the one thing that fit ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.
I had no issues at all, latched perfect, fitment and gap is dead on. Yes there are no windshield washer clips, but I just left em off
I need pics to see what your hood looks like

Sorry to bring up an old thread. Just tried to install the Seibon TSII hood today, having the exact same problem with the hood latch. The striker on the Seibon hood won't depress the latch enough, and/or isn't tall enough to engage the lock. Even tried slamming the hood. Has anyone else had this problem and maybe a fix before I take it to a body shop? Thanks!

Thanks for the replies, I managed to unbolt the latch and raise it as far up as it can possibly go - the striker still doesn't reach. Looks like Seibon messed up and made it too short.
Can't really add spacers to the striker, its a part of the fiberglass back of the hood. And yep thanks for the reminder about the rubber bumpers- i saw your other thread and already lowered them to the max.
Ended up just installing hood pins and ditching the latch altogether, not my preferred look but probably safer for the long run anyways. Thanks guys!

I have the hood as well but, I haven't installed it yet. I'mma go with the smaller hood pins cause I'm not a fan of the larger mounting plats on the hood. Fitment is crucial and aligning it is the other issue. Pictures bruh, pictures!
