Hazards Flash When Using turn signals

Has anyone had the hazards flash when they use their left or right turn signal? Im thinking my multi relay went out, it is not the fuse. Any info would help!

You mean when you use your right or left turn signal both go off?

yep either one makes both sides flash, i just added the 09 mirrors with blinkers so if i disconnect them it works fine...and if i only have one side plugged in at a time that works fine.

any ideas?

This happened to me once on my old 2002 Maxima after I replaced the head unit. During the install process I scraped some insulation off one of the wires in the bundle and that bare wire was casing a short or something that caused my hazards to flash instead of blinker. Took me a while to find it, but once I did and wrapped the bare wire with electrical tape, the problem was gone forever. Maybe you inadvertently exposed a wire during the side view mirror install?
