Offset help for new concave rim order.... Please help me out
I decided on some rims for my isx50 I need a little help on the offsets the vendor has been great I just want to make sure I am making the best choice for daily driving and my car.
Front rim is 20x9 +35 offset that was recommended so it doesn't stick out past the fenders
The back rim is the biggest questions they are 20x10.5 +40 safe recommendation
Also suggested I could go +35 in the back but I might need slight mods Depending on my setup
I don't mind a tiny bit of rubbing if I hit bumps or something. I really Dont have passengers in the rear and my stock springs are back on the car but I am considering putting back on my eibach spring kit for a more aggressive look if it won't cause to many issues
Not going for the hella flush look I like my wheels just inside the fender wells I don't want the rims sticking out. And I don't wanna do a super stretched rim
I just want the best looking concave safely possible in the rear. I didn't know if +40 or +35 was a big visual difference as far as concave looks.
The car is currently on 20x8.5 in front and 20x9.5 in rear I don't know the offsets but I assume they are a high offset. No mods in the rear of car but I did heat gun the front fenders .
Thanks for any help anyone can provide

wheel manufacturers have different ways of determining whether their respective wheels are full-faced or concave.
throwing out wheel specs won't get you far if you're trying to determine the concavity of a certain wheel brand/model. you're better off discussing that with the wheel manufacturer or reseller.

rule of thumb is, for wheels with concavity, the lower the offset, the greater the concavity. that much is typically true. however...
concavity ultimately comes down to its design specs, and different brands will have different design specs.
again, contact your wheel manufacturer/reseller for more information.
