i did a search to find a thread on this and i found one, but it says i can't access it for some reason...so I'm looking for an DIY thread on wiring a subsystem in a 2008 IS250 with the ML system. i plan on adding just a simple Infinitybass system link powered sub since the ML system is pretty legit..i just need some more bass.

Is this the same install for non ML systems too? Been wanting to drop a sub in my 11 is350 and don't want to pay for a professional install!

Very similar. I think there are a few pics I might have posted at the end of that thread that shows what wires to tap. I did mine with non-ML. PM me if you have any questions about it. The setup was very simple.

when i took my is to get subs in at shop they shorten the radio and 800 to get replace to take you time and be careful

Im surprised it wasent more than that, hopefully they paid for it. Its pretty hard to short it, make sure you disconnect your negative battery terminal.
