Default 19" Wheel Help 19x8.5 5x114 ET20

I'm buying a set of 19" wheels for my IS350 and before I buy I wanted to see if anyone has ran the 19x8.5 5x114 ET20 and 19x9.5 5x114 ET20 in the rear or 19x8.5 5x114 ET20 all the way around? Only threads I can find is people running +35 in front and +38 in the rear so I need to know how these will look and sit on the IS350. Advice needed asap because I'm ordering these wheels monday!

this is 19x8.5/9.5 +22, which is 2 millimeters less aggressive than 19x8.5/9.5 +20.

that's why there's the "will those wheels fit? start here" thread.

megan racing LP series coilovers
215/35-19 + 235/35-19 (later upgraded to 245/35-19)
rolled/lightly-pulled fenders + shaved fender tabs

ride quality suffered from the low profile sidewalls and light stretching.

yeah I'm looking to put just regular tires no stretching of any sort and yes I will have to do some fender pulling but I guess my only other question would be is the wheels don't "poke out" do they? flush with fenders?

there's the "will those wheels fit? start here" thread.

search in there for similar set-ups and see what you have to do to make it work.

With your set up the wheels will poke out a little. However, It also depends on how much you lower your car. The more you lower, the less poke the wheel will. This is because the natural inward arc of suspension travel path when compressed. Not sure if you get what I'm explaining. Try searching for pictures of lowered car on stock wheels (without any spacers on, of course) and you will see what i say.

In the picture provided above, the wheels didn't poke out because that car was at least 2-3 inches lowered.

Also with your set up, you will "have to" use narrower tires e.g. stretched tires, because you need the sidewall to be slanted inward so you can achieve more fender-to-tire clearance.

If you don't want stretched tires, you will have to choose less aggressive offset such as Front 8.5 ET30 to ET40 and Rear 9.5 with the same range of offset.

Hope this helps.
