Wow... I can't compete with those numbers. Highest mileage per tank I have gotten in TX was about 380.
you are not alone... in TX a good tank for me driving is in the 350-380 range... I don't drive a ton but when I do it's roads with a lot of stoplights...
I've hit 34mpg at 65mph cruising. Bumping cruise up to 70 dropped me down to 29mpg. It really depends on your driving habit. I only get 24mpg if I don't cruise because of brief open throttle runs.
I live in DFW area. I get around 22 combined with 60%Highway 40%City.
The gas blend has changed. I get nearly 300 miles a tank. I fill up every 5 days.
My lifetime tank average is currently at 31.0mpg with 50/50 driving. It use to be a little better (just over 32) but it appears that the gas in my area has gotten really bad over the last year as my tank mpg fluctuates dramatically between fill ups (ditto on my other car). I only use top tier gas and I drive an '08 IS250 RWD with 65k.
I was at 24mpg on a manual, about 40/60 city/highway. I put a JoeZ intake this past Monday and now it reads 26mpg this past week so far. I don't know about a full tank, I have never filled it up the whole way.
2007 IS250, went on a road trip, all highway - got 485 miles on the tank with 17 miles left. I could have pushed it and broke the 500 mark, but didn't want to risk it not knowing what gas stations would come up in 17 miles lol.
