FWIW I blew a shock recently on my '09 with 54k miles. Normal driving nothing too drastic, but I was also on tein springs for the last 10k miles before it blew. switched to coils to hope it doesn't happen ever again!

***UPDATE***

So I picked up my car and they have basically padded all the dash mounts, vents, navigation, et al.
What a difference it made to my perception.

Now the car feels solid, and planted instead of the shaky creaky cheapy feel that made me start this thread.
It is not soft and luxurious but it is firm and sporty. Just the way a sporty car should be.
And it is quiet like a well oiled sewing machine.

Wow.

Thanks to Sewell Lexus(specifically Bobby Moorehead and John Selbi) once again for igniting my love for my IS250!!!!!!!!

What did you have to tell them to get them to do all that? That last time I took mine in for a rattle they basically told me to not put things in my glove box hat could move around and make noise. There are certain times that i'll drive and the car seems solid and other times the complete opposite, pretty sure it's related to the outside temperature. Seems much worse when really cold or really warm. Not having all the creaks and cracks would probably go a long way.

That is what John Selbi (Master Tech per my understanding) explained to me when he went for all the padding. He explained the temperature scenario and assured me that all this padding will help, especially when it is cold or cold-warm.

**UPDATE**
Over the last 4 days, the temp has fluctuated from 43 to 77 and I have not heard any of the rattles, squeaks or creaks that made me go crazy.
Loving it!
