HI, Guys. If you guys can help me out I'll greatly Appreciated it. I keep getting bubble/ **** of the sidewall on my front wheels (OEM Wheels 225/45R17). Right now I need to go out buy all new tires in a day or two.
Can I upgrade to a bigger tire for my Daily Driver, Such as a 225/50R17. Will it Rub? Issues?
I know Plus Zero size would be 215/50R17 but I heard the narrow tire would be all over the place.
Nyc streets are horrible and low profiles don't last long. I just need tires that will last me commuting back and forth to work. Thanks You Guys.

Tire quality issue really. I had an instance where I ran over/hit a 4" thick tree "log" in the road and I started to get a shimmy in the steering wheel at higher speeds. Took it to Discount Tire, where I got the BFGs, and they said there was a small bubble formed because of the damaged steel belting.
Either you keep hitting things (curbs/debris) or potholes are not being nice to you.
GL!
