Opinions for Tire Size

For better wheel protection, go with:
235/35/19 Front
255/35/19 Rear
1 inch lowerd, no rubbing problem.
If you lower your car more than 1.5 inches, then you should go with 225/35/19 in front.
225/35 on 8.5" rim provides no side curb protection at all.
For the rear 9.5+35, you can go with 255/35/19 or 265/30/19 and won't have any rubbing problem no matter how much you lower your car. But 265/30/19 provides 79.5 mm of sidwall vesrus 89.25 mm of 255/35/19. That's almost 1 cm of extra protection.
With 265/35/19 you might rub with that spec when you lowered your car because of the taller side wall. The tire will also be too tall for IS factory spec too. So 255/35/19 would be the best pick, in my logic.

My thinking is this.
225 has acceptable wheel range of 7.5" - 9" and 255 has range of 8.5" to 10"
In both cases, with the 8.5" front and 9.5" rear, both are about 0.5" inch away from the maximum acceptable ranges for the stock sizes and would assume the way the tire opens up identically because both are 1" wider than minimum.
Since I have stock 18", the 8" front looks just right, with the lip sticking just out past the tire while the rear being 8.5" rear, looks a bit odd because it is at the minimum such that the lip ls a bit behind tire wall, such that getting a 9.0" should change it to make the lip just passed the tire wall so it would look identically how the front 8" does. Interestingly, this is what Lexus's recommends for their 19" forged wheel and Michelin's section width measurements are measuring based on 8" and 9" wheels respectfully with those sized tires.

Had a look of the thread. There are several good examples where the lip is just exposed passed out of the tire wall. Suprized there was one runing 215 in the front !! The pic needs to show from diagonal or parallel perspective to see the tire wall and the lip exposure. Doesn't really be seem to be really good pictures showing it, did note people running those wheels but did increase the tire sizes so it does not provide the correct reference we are looking for.
I personally saw in my work parking lot an IS with work wheels using 225/35 and 265/30 rears using 8.5" and 9.5" respectfully and seen the exposure in person. If I have a chance, I could take a picture of it.

If I went with the Continental Extreme Contact DWS (50K tread life warranty with 540 UQTG) vs. the Continental ExtremeContact DW (340 UQTG), will I be sacrificing too much performance for extended tread life? I like to take corner somewhat aggressive, but it is a daily driver and I don't race or track.
A difference of 200 UQTG is quite a bit....would translate of a lot more road miles.
I keep reading that Continental have soft side walls that may bubble, but haven't read anything on the ExtremeContact DWS, rather other Continental tires. Should I worry about this? And these will already be low profile tires with a 35 side profile.

wont the stock allignment camber wear kill them way before the 50k? I doubt the warranty covers that. Question Im on Stock ISF wheels and im dropped on Fsport Suspension on my next tire set I want to go wider im thinking:

Is that too aggressive? You think it will run with that minimal drop? My gut tells me know but I figured id run it buy you guys. I dont want to roll my fenders but I dont mind pushing back plastics with the heat gun
