Hey guys, I was thinking of getting some new wheels for my IS350. Currently my stock wheels are 18x8 front (225/40/18) and 18x8.5 rear (255/40/18). The new wheels I'm looking at have a smallest diameter of 8.5. If I ran 18x8.5 with the 255/40/18 on all 4 wheels would my handling be worse than it is now?

It should perform similar since the 225 maximum acceepable width is at 9" and for 255 maximum is 10". Without changing rear, the handling maybe affected but not sure to what degree. If you increase the rear to a 9" or 9.5" for the rear wheel you should be fine.
The wheel's lip would stick slightly out of the tire a bit more than the stock wheel if you go wider.
