Default Bad smell of exhaust inside..?

Hi.
I've noticed when the car gets warm I can smell the exhaust that literary smells like farts This is the smell what you can feel sometimes drive after another car on the highway and the moment the car in front of you starts accelerating then you feel a bad smell from its catalytic converter..? I have all the time in my car when i am driving it and when I stop and go outside that smell is even worst... Do you have similar problem in your IS's?

From what others have stated, the carbon impregnated cabin air filter seems to help some. Personally, I've never had this problem.

My car has done this since new, after going up hills, and then shutting down and getting out. Numerous dealers have looked at it and none have been able to reproduce the problem or offer a fix. I've just learned to live with it.

I remember reading somewhere that this happens if you (or the pervious owner) user regular grade gas for a long period of time. Replacing that cabin filter and using premium gas may help with it.

Option 2: PPE Headers and catless exhaust ,) Make the world suck on your fumes! But it won't smell like rotten eggs anymore

Interesting, I was right about to ask the same question here. When I first bought my car, I never noticed any smells. When I bought an Inividia Midpipe and HKS Hi-Power, every time I accelerate hard, it smells like farts or rotten eggs. My friends who drove behind me told me they smelled my nasty exhaust in their vents. When I slow down, all the smell goes into my cabin. Never noticed any bad smells until I bought the exhaust, now it really looks like I got a "fart" can. Can't be the gas, I pumped Citgo and Marathon before but always Shell or BP now.

I have exactly the same feeling. Idk what gas has previous owner used. I pump 93 at sams club usually, maybe I should switch to shell?

Maybe that person really did "fart" and now the car has the magically absorbed the smell when the new owner has just now realized !
LOL j/k!
