You don't have to remove your bumper completely.
Thanks for the info! I was able to get it. Removing Ballast and Modifying the bumper guards are a pain in the ****...

Did you take any pictures of your modified bumper brackets by any chance?

Sorry I didn't get the photos - I was so tired and wanted to get it finished - Took me almost 5 hours...

As for the bumper cover mod - its primarily the round dust cap on the new headlights (bottom of head lamp - which houses the LED strip) that get in the way. So you have to cut around them. I suggest a powered hand saw or hot knife. It took me forever to get the ballast out on the first try and much faster the second try.

Here are somme pics of the ballast removal - sorry its fuzzy... its clear on my end

Darrel @ Sewell - Any thoughts in creating a modified bumper bracket to sell or including one in the kit for extra $$ - I'm sure it'd be easier for your shop to machine/smooth the necessary mods.

Plug and Play is relative. Its plug and play from a plug to plug perspective (meaning the connection to your car's power plug, But you still need to remove your old bulbs (and ballast which is a pain) or provide new ones. You may as well get new HID bulbs, new high beams (9005), and bllnker bulbs since you've already taken your bumper apart.

Best of luck!
