So much confusion in this thread.....
Let me see if I can help, I've owned BOTH sets already and can speak from personal experience.
1. If the headlight has the "eyebrow" then it is the bluer/whiter LED.
NO, the eyebrow doesn't necessarily mean it has the updated gloss paint, only the upgraded LED.
NO, the upgraded LED is not brighter in any way, just has a little more color to it, almost like a 6K HID bulb color. Looks nice.
That's it, nothing else, the LED isn't sharper, isn't brighter, isnt bigger, nada.
Same thing, different color. Josh and NSGlex just received theirs from Sewell, maybe they can say if it's the gloss paint or not.

Took me that long as well - had trouble with the ballast disassmbly and bumper guards...
