So my 2006 IS350 originally had halogen but I am about to install the HID kit, so this noob wants to know if that means that I can just order the stripped set? I asked Sewell but they haven't gotten back to me.

Please correct me if I'm wrong cause I'm ready to buy as well but would like to get the stripped one. If you buy a aftermarket HID kit doesn't it come with a ballast and bulb already so that you can buy the stripped one instead of the loaded????? Please help on that cause that's what it seems like to me.

I think in the midst of my confusion on trying to find out the same answer, I just said eff it, so I wouldnt have to deal with having to try and load my own HIDs into the stripped model. The loaded one is simply plug and play, and for that reason it was worth it to not have to even try to deal with the headaches that could arise if buying a HID kit wasnt enough

Sewell replied back to me to get the loaded set since they dont have much knowledge about aftermarket HID kits.
