Its pretty much plug and play with exception to the ballast removal... there are tutorials on that here and on youtube - look for JoeZ... theres a video that showed me what I had to do its not difficult and I don't DIY usually

Where can I get them for $600? $1200 you mean?... well actually... almost CAD $1300 including shipping and exchange rate for us Canucks...
i was saying that you SAVE $600 by buying these headlights now... i expressed to my wife that originally the headlights are $2997 or something close to $3k... but they are having a sale where you can get $1800 off if you buy in the next 24 hours.......... :hiding: but essentially they are 1800 headlights on sale for 1200... but it worked and i will now have 2012 headlights.
Just tell her sweetly that after a long, hard day's work and you get home, you'd need those pretty new headlights to see her beautiful welcoming face better

Piratical thinking and hypothetically speaking ... Buy 2011 headlights for $1237, sell OEM HID w/blacked out housing for around $600 shipped, and spends around 5 hours for install just so I can get led strips in my headlights? So that's $637 and time spent for LED strips? What else am I missing? I still want it but my practical side is helping me resist.

2. Missing? Well you'd also be missing AFS as well as an extra turn signal section after the conversion, so us crazy basturds are spending a heck of a lot of cash to delete features.... But as a bonus we're also getting a lovely flashy light on our gauge to CONSTANTLY remind us of our frivolous spending in replacing a perfectly good set of headlights! Hmm... how's that practical side feeling now?

Well, just for schnits and giggles I called up the local Lexus dealer and asked for the price for 2012 headlight assemblies and I was quoted $2500. ....EACH. ....Plus 12% tax!

1. I'm assuming you'd want to keep your stock ballasts and bulbs so you'd be selling ballastless bulbless OEM blacked out headlights. Think you can still sell them for $600? If not you'd need to recalculate your costs...

You just saved me $1300 or more and the potential of being put in the dog house. Thank you.
