I finally got the funds to make the jump and buy the Headlights...now the question...

From the folks that own the and are rocking on there IS, what is the verdict?

from what I see/read easy install, the bumber bracket may need cutting/modifying, and the AFS light on the dash.

Do you guys know if Tommy knows how to make the headlights work like oem using the diagram Mokey posted? I figured I could do the installation of the lights myself but I'm not comfortable with splicing wires and such.

Give him a call to be sure.. but I don't think he's ever done something like that to the new headlights. If he did.. he would of offered me that option when he was installing it on my car.

tommy installed my lights like oem.. all he did was tap the dark green wire into the acc fuse... it was really easy for him... my lights work like oem... its great, when you start the car the lights come on, and when you turn the car off they go off... you don't have to turn on your parking lights to make the leds light up... but do yourself a favor and go to your lexus dealership and get your drl's disabled, they look 10x better

Jeff....

He has an IS-F... So if he got the right 2012 IS-F headlight part numbers, then his brackets will be a perfect fit... Since the part number for the bumper or brackets haven't changed for the IS-F.
(Only the headlight part#'s have changed)

I had to modify my brackets since I installed IS350 headlights on MY IS-F....

All they did was change the plastic underside of the headlight molds so the brackets can properly line up with the screw holes..

So when I install mine I don't need to modify the brackets? And all the bolts will line up?

Don't worry too much about the brackets. It's very easy to cut them.

About a month ago I bought a 2008 IS350 with 14,000 miles and luxury package (with HID and other stuff). Since it is a certified pre owned "3 years /100,000 miles" will retrofitting with LED headlights void my warranty?. I already Installed the F Sport Intake (would have loved Joe Z intake, but warranty issues )
