Yes and no, not trying to rain on your parade but your lights still down work like OEM.

OEM = 100% brightness when headlights are off, 50% brightness with headlights on.

Sounds like your lights were given a constant power source (acc), but if they are wired for 100% they will always be 100% brightness, even when the headlights are on.

well you are correct, because that is the way sewell made the lights, 100% brightness... so i can't do anything about that there... but i'm as close to oem as i can be

Sewell didn't make the lights. Lexus did. They can do both brightnesses, you just need to wire it to be like that.

You can be much, much more OEM if you really wanted to be.

Jeff

Is there a DIY somewhere for the wiring? Can someone post up pics of the wiring please? Thanks.

didnt mean for you to take offense to my comment, I too dont have them OEM.
They could be wired for 100% or 50% brightness by you

i didn't take it offensively, i just didn't know that you were able to adjust the brightness, i was told that they came at 100%... i'm not to savy on the whole re-wiring to make them 50%, plus i think they look way better imo at 100% all the time.

I'd like to thank Darryl and the Sewell team for my lights which I received earlier this afternoon. I've only gone as far as installing spare ballast which I had laying around. The rest will be completed tomorrow
