Alright, I'm on the fence, Just want to know if it is easy to take out the bulb that blinks in the gage cluster :/

 

Hey Quang, I thought the 2012 bumper brackets only fit one 2011+ bumper?, but he has 07 is, and it is different bumper.

 

hehe... ohiois350, I know the part# for a reason, they fit perfectly on my 06

 

It's not a bulb it's an LED which you can't take out. The best thing to do is get some black tape open up the cluster and block the light from the inside so it does not shine through.

 

so those parts number are the one for the new headlights to fit the older bumper like 06-08? all three screws and the brackets line up perfectly with the headlights and bumper? so how much is it cost? thanks quang fro the parts number

 

The brackets are factory OEM 2012 headlight brackets (sewell sells those too), not specifically made for sewell LED headlight on sale here. and yes, all 3 screws and little tabs on the headlight near the screws line up 100%. I did not want to do the cutting, and bought a used bracket to try out, and turned out to be perfect fit on my 06 bumper

thanks Quang, but when I look at sewell website, it has two different brackets type? one for non HID and one for HID, so all I see parts # 51226 and # 51225, but not # 51226-53070?

Well we know the new brackets fit and work on the new headlights...

BUT, do the fronts of the "Front Bumper Support" brackets lock into the 2006-2010 bumper tabs and hold the bumper into place correctly ???

Thats the key question..

They're just wired the default way for now. Will get in there later and change it to full time DRL. Though still undecided whether I want it to dim with low beams.... hmm....

Naah... too much work. And also I'm so used to the plate on now anyway.
Industrial Park in Burnaby (near the Vancouver border) just off Marine.

 

I thought I recognized the area somewhere but couldn't pin point where. For one thing, the theme of the lamp post didn't quite seem like Vancouver to me while it did resemble other places in BC, such as Burnaby.

 

how do i order 2012 headlamps?
on sewell i dont see anything that say 2012 headlamps?

I believe they only send out the updated version now so you should end up with the 2012 pair
