Hey All,

How accurate is the digital fuel economy readouts on the IS's? I'm asking because I've read multiple reviews and reports that claim around 18-20mpg for the IS250 RWD (even lower for the manual). However, I've been averaging around 8.7l/100km or ~ 27mpg of mostly city driving and quite frequent WOT 2nd and 3rd gear lifts (just got the car so gotta have some fun ). I will defintely do an analog odometer readout for the next couple tanks but I just wanted to hear on others experience.

Mine is normally off by about 1-3 so its pretty accurate

It's mostly accurate. From what I heard about 1 to 3ish or so MPG off.

Yes, the analogy method would be the best way to do it.

its pretty good. Its always within about 2 of the actual (i calculate with every tank and compare)
