Thats freakin rad dude. I've always wanted to do a semi gloss, but what do you do when you get a nick or scratch? you can't just buff it out.

I gotta say jealous I'm not in the area. I'd love to see it in person.
Great minds think alike! Haha, thanks a lot man. What area are you in?

I used Spies Hecker paint and semi gloss clear coat. The color is stock DSM(6U3) and the semi gloss clear coat product number is 8070. Gives it that satin look

Its definetly a little different than your standard flat black paint job haha. Scratches don't show up too much unless they're pretty deep since usually u can see scratches cuz its not so shiney in that scratched area. Rock chips or nicks can just be touched up pretty easy and they're not as noticeable since they'll dry flat and not shiney. Still sucks when it happens though. The 3rd day I had it all put together, a landscaping truck threw rocks all over my front end. One chip on each mirror, one big one out of the front bumper, and 3 huge scratches in my fender. Needless to say, I was pissed. But I resprayed the fender the next week and all is well haha.

I second this.

The car looks incredible in person, it's very well done. Looks OEM, if you took it to a non-lexus dealer, removed the other aftermarket parts and turned her in, they'd probably think it was a stock option. New exhaust looks amazing too on her!

She's a joy to see!

Pre-primed doors are often a misconception. You can tell the OP had to sand the brand new door then prime again...this is what seperates high quality and low quality bodyshops...preparation is key!

I'd rock different wheels myself, but either way, I'm loving it. Paint the exhaust black to complete the blackout.
