Default tpms sensors on aftermarket wheels

have you guys/girls taken your oem sensors and installed them to your aftermarket wheels?

will i have to reprogram the sensors?

Nope.

You only need programming if you're wanting to use a different (or second) set of sensors.

the answer to the first question depends on the brand, model, and construction of the wheels. most one-piece wheels are TPMS compatible, though the hole for the valve stem has to be big enough to allow the TPMS valve stem. if the wheels are multi-piece, you'll need TPMS adapter brackets.

worst case scenario, if they don't fit, either re-drill the valve stem hole, or run a pipe bomb set-up.
