haha, are you stocking up on gas? What kind of special makes it so cheap?
I paid $3.80 a few days ago in Scottsdale, AZ. I don't fill up my car when the price is way above normal ($4.10 or so) ... don't want to see price drop when I just got a full tank -- uh yeah, does that work

Like I said fuel perks my friend. Every $50 I spend at the grocery store I earn .20 towards gas and when I decide to fill I can use the discounts I've accumulated up to 30 gallons. I rack up points quick buying gift cards to places I shop and eat so I get a lot of money off gas all the time.
I herd you can put regular gas on a 2008 Is350 and some how the system gets adjusted to that type of octane, is it true or did that person meant from 2008 and up?

It clearly says in the manual and on your fuel door premium gas only. Don't be cheap like a few others you probably heard this from and save several cents per gallon only to cause several hundreds to several hundreds later on.
Gas is about $4.3x here in the Inland Empire area of CA.

Yes the car will adjust itself to burn the lower octane fuel. But its not ideal for the car at all. It requires premium fuel to run efficiently.
