Yes, that is where the issue occurs.

Thanks guys! I hope I can get new lights too! Thanks again for the information. Can't wait to get my F Sport intake installed in the next couple of weeks.

There are no "cheap" sets.

Your best bet would be to find a set in the classifieds or ebay. And that still wont be that much of a price difference

I got mine used off of a 2013 IS and paid $900. Haven't really seen any go for cheaper than that.

Not sure if you guys know this or not. TSB lights with eyelashes got replaced. I had my 2012 lights replaced under warranty. No longer eyelashes look much better imo, the LED is same color (whiter) as the TSB lights. I will take some pics and show you. I am glad I went back to the dealer to replace my TSB lights for bubbling.

Thanks for sharing. Is the paint surface above the LED lights still the same gloss black? I wonder how these updated headlights will hold up.

I forgot to take some pics sorry, no the paint surface is Matte Black. I think the difference is the lens of the projector sits back further in the housing so the sunlight is not magnified to the bottom of the housing. I think the Matte paint looks much better imo.

Interesting. The TSB headlights with eyelashes had the shiny gloss black so I guess they want back to the 2011's matte black then if I understand correctly. Hope to see the pictures when you get a chance to take some.

Pics please, and are you 100% sure they're not the 2011 ones? I am 99% sure the sun has nothing to do with this defect.

Alright so after further review they are painted gloss black on the bottom, I missed the paint towards the projector. The LED lights on these are the whiter match 6000k pretty close. I just think they moved the lens further in so there is less of a chance that bubbling happens not sure. Here is about the best pic I got so far. Just found out they installed/ordered the wrong lights... Will get a new set within the next few weeks. This is such B.S. :\
