Angry STEALERSHIP IS going to get it tomorrow

as you guys know:
"hey guys i had a problem with my HID light going of randomly, so it was taken to dealer at 49000 mile which i was still under warranty, but they said they could not duplicate the problem i still have that problem 4 days ago i called lexus corporate and told them i went to dealer for exact problem when i was under warranty now my warranty is over, so they told me take it back to dealer so they can diagnose the issue, so i did 2 days ago now they call me and tell me there is 2 philips aftermarket bulb in there, the car was bought used before the warranty even ended, i think the dealer is screwing me over because for every lil thing this car was taken to dealer according to the service history, and why would the previous owner change the bulb her self if she was still under warranty???? is exact bulb also, please give me some advice
update:
Lexus never called me back and my car was at shop for 7 days, so i had enough so i went to toyota dealership to see if i can get the light bulb cheaper and yes you guessed it, i did for $260
and paid Lexus to put them in, my service adviser seemed pretty pissed when i came there with 2 bulbs, i asked them to give me back my old bulbs they bulb that were in there was Genuine Germany Philips XenEco 42402 D4S Xenon HID bulbs, picture below and the oem bulb i got from toyota thats same part number as Lexus are Harrison made japan ds4 with Part #: 9098120024, btw can anyone tell me if the philips ds4 blow are aftermarket or not? i been looking around and i see the stealership has lied to me and these are not aftermarket compare to photo of some peoples post and these are the actual thing that comes in the car, so dealership better be ready for me tomorrow.

For the price you paid for the XenEco, you got ripped off because it does not go for that high, especially for a 4300K. For that price, the Philips Ultinon 6000K from Nigel-JDM would of been the correct choice which I mentioned in the other thread because they are worth this much.

The thing is that this was replaced before you owned it. I would assume they would covered this for you basing it on this but didn't you any say about that to them?

To answer the question about XenEco as I skim read too quickly, they are good nice bulbs good as well when they were in my 07 car before I changed them to Ultinons because I wanted 6000K.

As for the aftermarket non-sense they are throwing at you... It also could of been that the dealership only replacing a single bulb and not changing the set therefore you end up with two differnet color bands..

Just come to think of it. I don't think Philips actually made a green like band as the bulbs seem to look slightly differnet than the one with the brown band (which my XenEco is as well). If this is infact the case, the one with a green like band is acutally a counterfeit.

I bought Philips OE bulbs for $50 each and replaced myself. Pretty easy with DIY thread.

How's the visibility in the rain? I heard the ultinons 6000K are not as good as OEM 4300K in the rain...

Visibility wise OEM is best....

6000k has LESS lumen output then the stock ~4100k bulbs.

They work well in the rain. The Ultinon 6000K out performs other 6000K brand bulbs which have less output and they do not do well in the rain.

Oh ok in that case, this brings back the first assumption, why only one bulb was changed before you were the owner. Something still does not add up...

The 4300K light does have the best output for the color. For those who want a good white bulb with best lumens output for it, then Ultinon 6000K.
-----------------

It's very bright. I also have it paired up with 6000K HID fogs. I'm already in the plans of getting the fogs into a HID Projector housing since I already changed the fog to HID.

My thread for them a while back.

The fact that the dealer replaced it mean you should still be covered, which is why the aftermarket non-sense isn't going to fly. Definately confront them about this and talk to corporate.

I had a pair of used XenEco here which in a box which I could of sold to you too as those were taken out of the 07 car for my Ultinons 6000K.
