Default Need Help! Spring found on driver side floor.

This spring was laying there on the driverside floor. Any idea where it came from? I can't find any diagram on sewell parts page of the brake pedal or e-brake. Thanks in advance.

I am not in my car right now. I would go look under seat. Some cars used springs to stretch cloth/vinyl/ leather of seats. Not necessarily true for all cars in particular Lexus but it is worth looking. Just maybe sombody left it behind.
Don't worry!! Your car won't fall appart.

I was thinking the same, but it was near the pedal area when I found it. I drove the car earlier and everything seems fine. Can anybody take a picture of the brake pedal assembly or a have a diagram?

If everything seemed fine then the spring is not necessary, I'm just kidding.
I'd drive to the dealer, or an indy shop, and have them check it out.

When I was in my car the other day putting in a new turn signal relay I recall seeing a spring that looked similar to that up above the driver's side footwell. Sorry but I do not recall what it was attached to.

After endless reading and searching, I bit the bullet and paid for a 2 day subscription to techinfo website. The spring goes on the brake pedal and the other end attaches to a tab on the steering shaft. How it came off, I have no clue.

How does that 2 day subscription work? Are you able to print as much as you want from it? Any chance you could email me the pages for the throttle body section?
