Any of u guys out there try tighten the gas pedal line for more sensitive gas?? cause im having a hard time locating it. I usually do this to my honda's and toyota and was wondering if its a good idea for a IS250?

I also used to do this on my honda. However, the IS250 is drive-by-wire. There is no cable connecting the throttle body to the gas pedal. The pedal sends a electronic signal to the ECM and to the solonoid on the throttle body.

Yup... now, there are several electronic devices you can hook up that basically sit after the gas pedal and before the ECU (they just plug in) and lie to the ECU about how far you pressed the gas.... making the pedal more sensitive.
This might be what you're looking for.

Kurtz,
Any idea about reliability of said units? I'm apprehensive about having a computer lie to the ECU to get a different throttle response. Especially with a potential failure while driving (un-intended acceleration).
I'd love a better throttle because I think our drive-by-wire sucks and makes the car seem slower.
Thoughts?

So if you weren't pressing the gas at all it'd still be sending 0, because 0 multiplied by anything is still 0.
And since it's all solid state electronics just amping a signal I can't really see how it'd cause any problems, the only likely failure mode would be it'd just stop working.
(fiurther, if you've had the gas pedal recall, pressing the brakes at anything over like 5 mph will automatically cut all input from the gas pedal anyway)
I had no issues at all using the sprint booster in my own car and I did pretty extensive testing of it and its various modes and whatnot... though in the end it doesn't provide any actual performance improvement since it's not adding any power, it's just a change in feel/experience.
