Just match up the positive with positive and negative with negative, if you have a multi-meter, that'd be perfect. Most of the Lexus vehicles I've seen have the stock harness reversed so you'll have to plug it in upside down (where it doesn't clip).
However, I have seen a handful of IS/GS vehicles that have the stock harness where it allows it to be plugged in where it clips. The best way to check is to see which side is positive and which is negative.

232lexus sorry about your mishap with ijdmtoy. I have their first pair of slim decoders (at least on 2IS) and never had any problems with them. I installed them last August 2011 along with all other LED bulbs and have been very satisfied. Like many had mentioned, the polarities are very sensitive that the decoders heats up too quick and too much and some decoders you might have to connect reversed.
What I've done is connect the bulbs and decoders then I turn the car on without actually locking the harness in the housing to see if the bulbs would flicker. If the bulb flickers or doesn't light up fully, turn the car off and switch the connection around. Be very careful touching the slim decoders at this point as they get burning hot. Hope this helps those who are planning to do this mod.

Got them installed! The white wire actually connects to the red from the harness. It's the way the plug is actually set up. Im thinking maybe the high beams wiring is reversed color wise. Where the white is the power and the red is the ground. So the red from my decoder is connecting to the white of the high beam. I installed it the reverse and it only lit up Half the LEDs then popped a fuse.

so the OP installed them wrong, threw out the product and then came and bashed a company. Sounds like what some spoiled lil silverspooned teenager from CT would do.
No wonder he never came back

Just plug them in so everything clicks together like its supposed to. That's what I did and mine worked fine. Mine wasn't like the other poster said, red to red and white to black. It was the opposite but that's the way the plugs were made so it worked perfect. Very little strobing too.

installed mine today. Indeed the WHITE wire from the car connects to the RED wire from the decoder. The lights went in without a hitch, and look AWESOME!!! No more yucky brown DRLs! Thanks iJDMTOY!
