If you are really handy, comfortable removing interior parts (door sills, etc), and have a guide - go for it.

If you are unsure of any of those - let a pro do it. A single mistake can be costly in a Lexus.

Personally, I didn't think running the power wire from the battery to the trunk, which involves removing the interior panels, was too difficult. The harder part comes when you have to tap into the stock amp, not much space to work with and lots of wires.

Agree with DKnight - if you've done it before and are the DIY type, then go for it. If you haven't installed one before, might be worth getting a quote from a pro.
