Default My first accident =(

Hey Guys,

Im sad to say this, but I was involved in my first accident. But im happy to say that, no one was injured and everyone is fine. I have attached some pictures below. I'm not sure if the car is totaled, what do you guys think? the car is an 07, with 76k miles. Currently, The insurance is covering the car and im waiting to hear from the insurance adjuster. Sorry, the quality of the pics isnt all that great (iphone camera).

Looks fixable. New fender, hood, bumper, headlight, foglight, wheel, and whatever suspension components that got messed up.

Bumper and headlight upgrade, maybe?

Well assuming its an 06-07 with normal mileage I'm guessing it will be totaled. Good luck with your next car though! Glad everyone's okay.

its a 07 with 76k miles. There is also some slight damage on the rear wheel and side fender, its minor but would need to be replaced. What if the frame is damaged/bent? Could that total the car? I'm just trying to figure out if I want the car back or not.

Seeing as your FR spindle and wheel got sheared off there is probably hidden damage. Most probably on the front sub-frame and FR shock tower. The frame rail could have also been pulled a bit even if it’s not visible by eye.

BTW: Glad to hear every one is safe.

It'll be close; if it comes down to it and they ask, tell them to total it. After an accident the car never feels/drives the same. Sucks, but at least everyone is ok.
