IS - 2nd Gen (2006-2013) Discussion about the 2006+ model IS models

I want my IS to last 100k+. What'st the best and cheapest way to do this?

This is what I was thinking, heh.

Hell, for most modern cars that are properly taken care of (not just Lexus), 100K is when they're just coming of age. If you follow the regular service intervals for this car, you will [probably] easily go well into the six-figure range without any major issues.

why dont you get the CPO extended warranty if you plan to get the car for a long time ? It covers for 6 years/125K miles

in terms of maintenance, just follow what it says in the manual......

btw, welcome to CL! You are gonna enjoy your IS for a long, long time
