Default ***North America's 1st fully retrofitted OEM LED 2011+ headlights w/ Video & pics***

I know most of the south florida crew knows I sold my car/wife's project car. Sold it to a nice local dude that wanted all the mods that it had on it. It was very spur of the moment but it came just in time as I am narrowing down the IS-F list. These headlights were in Jersey when the guy bought my car, still getting worked on/retrofitted. So I figured these lights will just go on the F when I pick the F I want.

I really really wanted to have the thread title say Worlds first... Much like my other thread showing the worlds first flat bottom no top steering wheel aka fail-o-wheel as seen in this link ----> https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...cs-inside.html but alas the guy over in Asia beat me... as seen in this thread -----> https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...eadlights.html

Now I don't believe the guy overseas replaced his stock projector.... So if that's the case I do, for now, hold the title for the world's first projector retro fitted 2011+LED headlights..... For now. But that title won't be held long as I know many of you guys are always pushing the envelope.

For those that want the really nitty gritty of what all is going on you WILL want to see my build thread over on HID planet. Seen here -----> http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/show...p-custom-paint

You will find the following in the thread above:
-e30 lenses
-s2k projectors
-e30's fitted & cut to mate w/ projectors
-brand new CBI/Osram 5k D2S bulbs
-phillips 9011 HIR's $52(couldn't find Toshiba's )
-AL Bosch ballasts
-Modification work for 55watt boost of the ballasts including potted so I can control with a **** from inside the cabin how much power the driving bulbs receive. Perfect for when in the city or out by country side when I need more light
^By needing more light, fog lights are not the answer... You don't want foreground light ever. Only time to use fogs is when it's foggy.

That said, less talking and more pics for those that don't care to see or know about what was done to the headlights.

Stock Output before the retrofit (yes worse then the 2006-2010 headlights)

Up close shot of the OEM output

Baked open and the LED nike check mark removed

Again

After the projectors & lenses

The rest of the shots below are all after the retrofit

Video coming, stay tuned

Are you planning on putting the LEDs back in the headlight? In the video it looks like you have them omitted.

Yes sir. LightModz in Jersey is putting them back P.S. That video you are referring to is a pre 2011 headlight video. With the stock 2006 headlights.

Total cost can be viewed by clicking HERE

It was the most expensive mod I have ever done.
Brand new stance wheels, with tires, and megan suspension combined were less then what I spent on these headlights But I drive and work a lot at night... So to me, it was worth it.

Visibility increased so much... Driving at night was a pleasure. Especially when my cutoff was the brightest and sharpest on the road. So funny when I am illuminating the road better then the car in front of me who has several feet of compensation.

But I may not be the one to ask. Cause my headlights are also for sale.

No sir. 2011's. And I prefer the 11's. Only cause the 11's don't have the strange eyebrow "wave".

I'm selling them cause my car is going to my little brother and I'm getting a Cadillac after I part her out.
