After being used to all the road noise from my BFG KDW2s, the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that I had installed yesterday seem whisper quiet by comparison!

Have the Hankooks. They are louder when new compared to when the stock Bridgestones were new. Everything else about them I'd say is average. Good price though.

They're not so "budget friendly" anymore. Prices went up. I would just get the Continental DW's.. they're about the same price as the hankooks. Like $30-40 more for a set and is rated higher than the hankooks.

used hankooks. they are quiet and cheap. i switch to super sports which cost 50 percent more. i drive hard so its worth it. both tires are quiet, super sport is a lil quieter and handles better thank to stiff tire walls

On my 3rd set of Hankooks. But I would stay away from Hankook if you want something quiet. They are very good tires when new but loud when worn. Beware.

Thumbs up

I have about 3K miles on my Continental ExtremeContact DWS's. Quiet, good rain performance and reasonably priced. One of the best tires I've ever purchased. See Tire Rack for a like evaluation.

i need 4 new tires and it looks like the continental are the best bang for the buck. the handcooks cost a lil more. thanks for the tire info. my last set of tires were so loud. not sure of the brand off hand but very disapointed.
