Wait a minute...you need some sort of license/authorization to mod your car in the UAE?

You aren't supposed to mod your car at all! I feel cosmetic mods are ok! That is all what I have done anyway!

Yeah even Sharjah but mostly they look for noise "super charge-headers-exhaust-huge intake" super lowered cars. If the car is modded for the look and you're driving normally no one have the right to stop you.

Good thing i don't like crazy modding to gain performance.

One thing keeps me worried, when we go for the yearly renewal lol

it said in the comments its mostly for people who go to cheap shops which eventually cause faults. So if you were rich and went to like hamman and got something there you would be ok.

Guys cosmetic mods are okay. But as "faisal11ir" said the authorities are looking for mods like exhausts, super chargers or intake systems .. basically anything to do with gaining HP is illegal unless you get it from an authorized dealer. In our IS case guess F-sports should be okay but better check in detail about this.

BTW is Fox exhaust legal?? what about coil overs??

Anywys play safe and don't fined. lol (which i cant seem to shake off)

lol i'm playing with the interior now a days doing the carbon fiber and thanks to Vroomin i'll get the flat steering and aluminum pedals

i usually rage at policeman who fines me so he better stay away from me

really don't know the fox exhaust but about the coilovers i think if you're too low you're in trouble.

I went for the yearly renewal a couple of days back, they didn't say anything about my exhausts, though they said "your car is too low, you need to raise it". But I passed. This is in Dubai btw.

Martial law in car modification. That will sure ruin a lot of tuner/ speedshops business in the country.
