does anyone have any DIY information on this install? it's hard to understand the OP and I want to install mine sometime next week. Would rather not have to take it to someone. Thanks

I this isn't a very popular mod on here but for those of you who do have it, could you post a few pictures of what it looks like under your IS? I'll be getting side skirts in soon and I was going to mount it to them using the brackets that came with it.

Also I have a few questions about which wire is for the dome light. Thanks

 

i used 4'' drill bit and tap in 2 wires yellow color inside panel plus door seal wire.it will light up when you walk close to the car and when you open door

sorry for dirty picture.i only used one bracket the last one near the rear tires.

make sure you measure right.i have 5 puddle lights each side.i make mistake drill 6 holes.you have to take off the side skirt and measure and drill hole or do bracket.its up to you.i just drill hole because i dont want when i driver on highway and they hit something and come off.it look clean without bracket

for tapping wire i just wire red and black wire from passenger side go to door seal then stuck in floor carpet to the driver side then i tape them together then i open driver door panel and you will see 2 wires yellow color down from mirror.you will find it.there are 2 yellow wire.they are next to each other.you need test and see if the light work before put back the panel.

if you just tape to 2 wires yellow color.they only light up when you hit unock or walk close .they wont light up when you open the door.if you want them light up when open the door then you have to wire them to the illuminated door sill also.i wire bother in door panel and door sill.

i was thinking wires them to the brake tail light.when i step on the brake at traffic light.they will light up.i did not do it yet.i will do it some other time.i think it look cool at night.

i have to used wet paper towl clean the light one in while underneath.it look funny when it get dirty as one bright and one not bright.you will see what i mean .
