i just bought the vip puddle light.im gonna do the install myself.i know i have to take out the panel door driver side to tap in the dome light.i have coupe question if anyone have done and help me out.

do i have take out both panel door driver side and left passenger side to tap in the dome light?example right puddle light for driver panel door and left puddle light for passenger panel door or i just need tap both to driver panel door?

which wire is dome light should i tap in?i know there are 2 wires yellow color for the side mirror light.but i dont know which wire for the dome light?

anyway i just finish install puddle light.i have to open the driver door panel and tap in 2 yellow color.those are 2 wire for puddle light mirror outside.The light will come on anytime i walk or unlock the car.when i press lock they wont light up and when i open the door they wont light up also.i watch some video from youtube and i see someone post video same puddle lightn with is 350.my is is 250 and when he open the door or unlock and the puddle light up.some one told me tap in to the door seal wires.i mean if i tap in door seal then i dont think they will light up when i unlock or lock the car or walk close up.i think they only light up when i open the door.i still dont know how can he wire to unlock and open the door and they light up.

I also got the VIP lights, im going to tap into the dome light, that way they light up when i walk by, when i open the door, when i turn of the car.
i think that would be better than tapping into the puddle lights in the mirror

it took me like almost 8hours.i was afraid to open door panel.you guy should be careful when measure to drill the hole.i make mistake and drill 6 hole but i got 5 puddle each side.remember the if you gonna drill the hole for the last one in the rear.it wont straight up with other light.you guy got to used the mounting bracket for last one because it hit the bottom of the car.i make the mistake and i will take off to straight up when i got time.

I have a brand new set of VIP puddles that aren't chrome so no halo hot spotting will occur on the ground. PM me if you want them.

I don't have a car to put them on. I sold my car. I plan on getting an IS-F that's why I am curious what dome wire to tap into.
I don't want these cause of the hassle and a half to install them.

I want to know the dome light wire to tap so I can run my side mirror puddle lights to that dome wire once I get my IS-F because I have a viper smart start that I took out of my IS250 and plan on installing it into the IS-F.

i did asked question about where to tape the wire as i want like open door and unlock the door.when i tape in 2 yellow color behind the door panel.The puddle light only light up when i unlock or walk close to the car but it didnt light up when i open the door.yesterday my day off and i re wire and tape another wire to door seal and it work as open door and unlock the car but the thinng after i wire to door seal.the car heard like 4 beep and the singal flashing after that it work as normal.i was thinking wire to the brake light also when i have time
