Unhappy Door help!!!

Hi everyone

Hopefully somebody can help me,

I'm having some real problems with my drivers door, as my car is a 2007 model my warrenty doesn't cover adjustments, interior trim etc so won't help me with this.

My problems are:

- Every time I go over any rough ground my door sounds like it's moving around in the aperture. Its like the door isn't properly shut and is moving. I saw on here a while back a trick with electric tape wrapped round the door catch, I've done this and it did work for a little while. Its now come back even worse than before, and changing or adding to the electric tape doesn't help.

- When i'm driving my car in rain, I can hear water moving around before my right ear. I think it's is coming from the back of the drivers door seals.

- The very top of my drivers door isn't flush with the top of the rear drivers door, but the middle and bottom is.

My cars not been broken into, not had any accident damage and ive lubricated all the seals etc a number of times. But nothing helps anymore

Has anybody got any ideas on what I can do to rectify this, or atleast get rid of the noise?

Thanks

You can adjust the door stricker a tad inward, that will make the door close tighter to the car.

Door striker is a pin bolted to the car, the doors lock/latch locked into it when you close the door. If you loosen the striker a little bit and tap it inward the door will close tighter to the body of the car. Any body shop can fix this and its very easy. Takes 5 min

So you've been the only owner of this 2IS and are 100% sure it was not in an accident?
