Rear Caliper pins seized up - Dealer says it's not covered...

I have done countless brake jobs in the past, but found that my driver's rear caliper had seized. I had a friend (ASE Master Tech) take a stab at it, but he couldn't get the caliper to separate from the bracket, even with a torch. I ended up buying the assembly from my Lexus dealer. Sucked, but what can ya do?

I brought my 06 in when this happened to me. They said it was NOT covered because when I was previously in for service, they applied grease to the slide pin under the TSB (which they're saying should have made it good), so they wanted $900 to replace them. I had them put it back together and did it myself.

When the service manager told me the rear calipers are seized, they offered to replace them under warranty but only if I purchase new pads and rotors that would've cost me $1000.00. I declined and I'll be replacing the rears myself from Rock Auto. I can do the whole 4 corners for less than what they were going to charge me.
