so i had my sound system for almost 2 months now and then my battery started acting up.. i actually recharged it already and it worked but the very next day i tried to start up my car and guess what the battery was drained again...
I have 2 JL 500/1 amps and 2 12inch alpine type x subs... I would like to know what is the best battery that can provide for all of the power needs on my car? thank's CL!

Yeah my amp automatically turn on and off with the engine. I still need to ask the shop if they put capacitor on my sound system then from there try to figure out if the problem was the alternator or battery itself

Capacitor won't help here. Either your alternator isn't charging your battery or your battery is on the outs. I'd say if you weren't listening to music while the car was off or and you're wiring isn't draining your system, then you need a new battery. This has been discussed but I'd say a deep cycle battery is really good.

if you have a volt meter you can check your battery and charging system. battery should be 12.2-12.5 volts (i think thats correct), if its lower than that. you need a new battery. to check your charging system. have the engine running and your charging system is be around 13-14.5 volts.
