Default Door doesn't open! Need suggestions on how to fix!

Okay, so I was installing LED door handle lights this weekend. It involved taking the door panels out and the door handles on the outside. The result was worth all the work and everything worked fine until today. My rear driver side door won't open anymore. The handle on the inside or outside doesn't work but the lock works. My guess is that the metal cable for the handle fell out of the socket since I rushed the install and now the handles aren't connected to anything.

Anyone have any ideas how I can get the door open? I'm trying to reconnect the cable but can't figure out how to take the panels off when the door is closed. Maybe there's another way to open the door that I don't know of?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Nevermind, got it fixed after three hours. Such a mess to deal with. The actuator was messed up.

Just out of curiosity, how did you manage to get access with the door stuck closed?

^ I just took out the two screws behind the door handle cup and under the window switch. I grabbed the top of the door panel and the silver handle and pulled as hard as I could and the door panel started coming off. Then I just reached inside behind the clear plastic and started taking the actuator apart until I could use a flat head to release the latch. I got so happy when it opened lol.
