DIY: 2011+ MY LED Headlight Installation ("How To")
#136
2012 LED headlights (not from Sewell) and it was a success.
-2006 IS350
- move the green wire next to the open spot where the white/black wire is
- tap into the red wire and white/black wire using T-taps to connect the 2.
do not cut the red wire and wire it into the white/black
This way worked for me, not sure for others..

100% all the time? or is there a way to wire them up 100% during the day and once low beam turns on they go down to 50%? I can't find the relay flasher on sewell and the wiring cap for the bottom for the LED....someone please post some links so I can order, ima DIY noob.

I put 2013 lights into my 08 ISF last week. For the wiring you do not need to do any splicing, just moving the wires to different locations. Takes like 5 minutes and mine work perfect.

Hi just want to know i have been reading a lot and still unsure. I have a 2006 is350 with oem hid afs. As far as i know i ll be loosing the afs right? Also i ll order the strip version from sewell is there something needed or swapping the parts from my old headlights will be fine? The relay, led harness with cap and cap for high beam that some are talking about are they included and needed? Also are you running all time led on at 100%? Thanks a lot man i m just about to order this upgrade... wanna make sure i have everything needed.

Just used this DIY to install mine. Thank you!
On another note, **** that relay! I'm a bigger dude, so I couldn't simply lay in the footwell to install it. I had to hang out the dang doorway and remove and install everything with one hand, while not being able to ACTUALLY see the relay at all.
I couldn't get the relay to snap back into the hole, so I just zip tied it up there for now.
Thanks again!

Just installed the 2012MY LED Headlights Loaded from Sewell and these are my questions:
1.) DRLs -- If i get it disabled by the dealer will it cause me to lose my high beam function also?
2.) LEDs -- are they at 100% after install with no modifications? Is there a downside to this?
3.) Bubbling defect -- Can someone explain this to me? I've looked everywhere and all I know is its bad. Does it have something to do with the LED running at 100% and the Low beam on?
4.) What color temp matches best with the LED strip for Low Beam/Fog combination
