New member with new Lexus IS 2012
First and foremost, I would like to send a BIG THANK YOU to all the members on this forum for sharing so much helpful information regarding the Lexus IS series.
Anyways, I have been browsing here for almost 5 months. Today, I think it is right time to share with you all that I have finally purchased a brand new Lexus IS250 with F-Sport 2012 after dreaming of driving this IS for like 6 years already (since the first day the car came out).
Lexus IS250 2012 fully matches my expectations:
1. DAMN GOOD LOOKING!!!
2. Reliability
3. Great handling
4. Luxury
5. Made in Japan (JDM for the win)
6. Fuel economy (hence IS250, not IS350)
I have upgraded my new car with the following mods:
1. F Sport Intake
2. F Sport Exhaust
3. Garax 8000k HID headlight (replacing the stock 4300K HID bulbs)
4. JDM 8000k fog HID kit (to match the headlight)
5. Blue and white LED light for interior, trunk and mirror.
6. Painted brake calipers with blue G2 kit + "LEXUS" decals
7. JL Audio: JX500/1 amplifier and 10 inch W3v3 subwoofer sound system (I personally think this is BEST upgrade for me so far).
8. 3M paint protection system covering full front area
9. USC Alumni license plate as a recent Master in Industrial Engineering graduate @ USC

In these 5 pictures below, my car is 100% stock with F Sport package 2012 before any upgrade. I will post more pictures of the mods soon.
Anyone minds sharing Lexus IS250/350 2006-2011 pics if you have them? I would like to see the difference both interior and exterior between different year models. Any difference do you notice in the 2012 model?
