hi guys,
http://www.koonslexusofwilmington.co...-DE/1724878983
My fiance wants to buy a 2007 IS250 AWD. It's CPO with 3yr/100k warranty. The car has 55k miles. It's a 2 owner car. 1st owner leased it.
It's selling for $21,500. We got the price down to $20,980 w/o taxes and fees ($669). And we're trying to get the fees included into the price right now.
She seems to like it. I think it drives fine and doesn't look bad.
What do you guys think?
And any problems I should look for? Common problems?
Thanks!

Check Lexus.com for the dealer service history.
Check the car and history over closely for signs of the common problems listed in that thread.
I think if you get it for $20,980 out the door that's a pretty good deal. I will say that you definitely want CPO for an IS250 given the carbon build-up issue (which there's a mega-thread on, linked to in the thread above). It's a problem that can recur often unfortunately and the fix out of warranty can be $1500+.

I think it's a bit too much on the price, I got 2009 CPO IS250 AWD in 2011 with 32k miles on it for $25k w/o tax and registration. it has nav and park assist option. Also, the tires/wheels are covered until the extended warranty for 5yrs or 125,000 miles.
I think there should be more room to bargain down the price or you can search another place.

Thanks Calvin! I ran the VIN through the Lexus website and found that there has been numerous bodywork done to the car. I'm staying away from this car.

Just continues to prove that you can't trust these reporting agencies 100%.
