I'm sorry this happend to you. On another note I hope your car is a 6 speed if you let them two your car like that. If not I hope it was a really short trip cause your transmission will not be happy with you.

So sorry to see this. You'll make it look better in no time. My daughter crashed her Scion Xb today...She's been driving for 3 months
Daughter...driving... I always feel like everyone on the forums is around my age (25) so this came to a shock to me that you are older and have kids that are driving. haha Sorry to you as well man about your daughters car accident.

How in the world is it both your fault. I would try to go to court for that one. Two people can't both be at fault unless y'all were racing or something which I don't believe you were

Yeah echoing what was said, the IS should never be towed like that unless it is a manual transmission.

You'd think the guy who towed the vehicle would be competent enough to know it shouldn't be towed like that, or have at least asked if the car was RWD.

You should only tow a RWD like that if the driveshaft is removed!

Or if the transmission was designed in such a way that it can be towed with the drive wheels on the ground. (Most manual transmissions are like this, some autos are like this, most autos aren't though, including all Toyota auto transmissions I am aware of).

This is the very reason I always say "I have a lowered vehicle" whenever I do need a tow.
