Default Dr. ColorChip

Searched but only found really old threads. I recently bought the base kit to hide some nasty front bumper road rash scars. I must say, it was extremely easy to use and it came out pretty damn nice. Unless you were standing 1 foot away from the spots they fool the eye pretty convincingly. I would suggest to anyone planning on getting it to also find a cheap rubber squeegee type tool. I think this would have made an even better blend than just my thumb. Has anyone else used this.

I have an '08 Smoky Granite Metallic...didn't take pictures of before and after...the paint color actually matches pretty well...I suppose I can take some after pics...

I have the kit sitting in my room. Haven't gotten around to covering up some rock chips on my hood. I'm glad the results came out good for your SGM because that is also my color.

i have the dark blue one and the paint came out lighter even though it came out smooth
so i guess its a fail for darker color car..maybe thats why the video demo was on a white car

Hmm, they quoted me $550 to repaint my hood and bumper but I think I'd rather do this.
