So I am about to pull the trigger on these rims with a set of tires. I have the light silver 2008 Lexus is250. I am running at a stock height right now, but my next mod will be a set of coilovers to drop it a bit. I just had a couple of questions to throw out to the group.
What finish would you go for on my color (light silver)? The choices are Hyper Silver, Gunmetal, or Black. I am leaning towards Gunmetal.
The shop is recommending 18x8 for the front and 18x8.5 for the rear. The rims only come up to 18" but should I go wider in the back?
The tire size recommended is 225/40-18 for the front and 255/40-18 for the rear.
I would like to have it as flush as possible without having to modify my fenders. What are your thoughts on the wheel and tire size?

Im no wheel expert but if you have a (light silver) is250 you may want to go with darker colored rims just to make the car stand out. IMO silver is such a plain color on its own but when you do things here and there it can make the world of diff and make it stand out like a ****. for example u can go with the gunmetal wheels to make them pop on the silver color, plasti dip ur emblems for the matte black look and you car will stand out bit time. small things like this make silver really stand out. and if you wanna go a lil crazy you can also carbon fiber wrap the roof and spoiler if you have one. Simple things like this will make it stand out in a big way.

If you will keep the staggered sizes, you need 8" Front and 8.5" Rear. I would do 225/40R18 Front and 255/40R18 Rear if you don't want to modify the vehicle. I have an IS in obsidian and have anthracite (gun metal) wheels and absolutely love the color not to mention they help hide the brake dust. Again, color is all preference.
